New Feature - Selling Modifier Products by Portion

For your convenience and to make the sales process more flexible, the ability to sell products with modifiers by portion has been added to the Terminal.

🧩 What is the new feature?

Previously, selling products with modifiers by portion was not supported. Now it is possible.

• When you activate portion for a product (by selecting the Portion checkbox),
• and set the “Adapt to portion” option for the modifier to “Yes”,

the user can select modifiers and sell by portion at the same time.

Configuration Steps

For this feature to work, these two settings must be selected correctly:

1. At Product Level: The Portion checkbox must be ticked.
2. At Modifier Level: The “Adapt to portion” field must be set to Yes.

Price Calculation

When both portion and modifier are active, the price is calculated as follows:

Total Price = (Product Price × Portion Quantity) + (Modifier Price × Portion Quantity)

In the Terminal, this change appears immediately, and the price shown to the customer reflects the real portion size.

Testing and Verification

The new feature has been tested and confirmed with the following checks:

• After selecting portion in the Terminal, both the product price and the modifier price adjust according to the portion.
• The price is calculated correctly according to the formula and displayed accurately in the interface.
