Adding a Service Fee Percentage

A service fee is a payment charged in exchange for providing a certain service. It is the amount set for delivering the service, support, or other operations related to the service.
There are 3 types of service fees:

General service fee (applied everywhere)
Service fee applied to a sales method
Service fee applied to a hall

To change the service fee settings, go to Settings → Terminal in the back office panel.
Direct application of service fee – If you enable this button, the service fee is automatically added to the check when a table is opened. If it is disabled, the service fee will not be automatically added to the check when a table is opened. If you have permission to apply the service fee to a table, you can add or remove the service fee item from the check.
Service fee percentage – You can change the service fee percentage here.
Calculation of service fee – You can set whether the service fee is applied to the price before the discount or the price after the discount.

Applying the Service Fee to a Sales Method
You can also set a different service fee depending on the sales method. To do this, go to Sales → Sales Methods, select the type you want, and click the Edit button. For example, if you want the service fee to be 15% only for dine-in service, change the service fee and click Save. The service fee percentage you set here applies to all branches. Please note that if the service fee set in the general Settings is selected, that general service fee will be used instead.

Applying the Service Fee to a Hall
You can also set the service fee by hall. In this case, a different service fee is applied to each hall. To do this, go to Settings → Table Management in the back office panel. Once there, click the three dots next to the hall you want to apply a different service fee to, and select Edit. In the window that opens, you can either keep the default service fee or set a different one and click Save. The service fee percentage set here belongs only to the branch it is applied to.

💡If a service fee is set in all 3 sections, the priority order is: first, the service fee applied to the hall; second, the service fee applied to the sales method; third, the general service fee. If the hall has a service fee set, that fee will be used for calculation, and the sales method's service fee will not be taken into account.
