Importing Semi-Finished Products via Excel
In the Clopos system, you can bulk import semi-finished products together with their recipes. To do this, create a new Excel file and write down the names, units, categories, and other relevant information of the semi-finished products in a table. To upload a semi-finished product menu with recipes to the system, enter the information in excel file

- Name → In this column, first write the name of the semi-finished product, then write the names of the products used in the recipe.
- Type → Write the type of the product. If the item is a semi-finished product, write "PREPARATION." If it is an ingredient, write "INGREDIENT."
- Category → Here you decide which category the semi-finished products and ingredients belong to.
- Cost Price → In this row, write the price of one unit (weight or piece) of the ingredients you bought. For example, if 5 kg of flour costs 2.5 units, then the cost price for 1 kg should be written as 0.5 units.
- GROSS → In this row, write the amount of each ingredient used in the recipe. The cells in this column should stay empty for the semi-finished product itself.
- Unit → Here you should show the ingredient's unit of measurement (kg, l, pcs, m, gr).
- Net Output → Here you write the total output amount of the semi-finished product.
All semi-finished products should be entered one below the other in this format. The ingredient names used in the recipes must always be written the same way for the same product. For example, a product called "Rocket" should not be written as "rocket" in one recipe and "Arugula" in another! If this happens, the system will think they are different products and create both of them separately in the ingredient database.
After filling in the Excel table, go to the back office and import the file.!
