Deposit Function: Variable Payment Products
The Clopos system is rich in functionalities that provide convenience to users during sales. The Deposit function is specifically designed to easily add products to the system that require prepayment or have variable payments over time (e.g., deposits for reservations, installments, time-based services, or products where the final amount changes).
Creating a Deposit Product
To create a deposit product, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Back Office management panel.
- From the left side of the panel, select “Menu”.
- Go to the “Products” section.
- Click the “Create” button.
- Select the word “Timer”

After following these steps, you will be able to create a one-time or timer-based deposit product in the window that opens.
Timer-Based Deposits
Timer products are items designed to help businesses set up time-based pricing systems. They allow easy calculation of charges based on the actual duration of use for various services or products. This feature is particularly useful for businesses such as PlayStation clubs, restaurants offering private rooms/cabins, and similar operations.
Thanks to timer products, these types of businesses can create a fair pricing system based on real usage time. In addition, variable pricing over time (for example, lower rates after the first hour) encourages customers to use the service longer. In short, timer products are beneficial for both businesses and customers.
Product Settings
Just like with any other product, you need to add settings to make deposit products stand out and function properly. In the settings section, you will find the following fields:
- Name: The name you choose to identify the product in the system
- Category: The category to which the product belongs
- Accounting Category: The accounting category where reports for this product will be recorded
- Image: The image that will appear in the menu for visual presentation of the product

Payment Settings
Especially for timer-based deposit products, prices are variable. Therefore, we recommend paying special attention to the following settings when creating the product:
- Taxes: These are the tax types to be applied to the product. The system automatically adds percentage-based tax payments to the final price according to the selected tax types.
- Service Fee: To add a service fee to the deposit payment, select the “Included” button. If you select the “Not Included” button, no service fee will be calculated for this product.
- Orders: If additional orders can be placed within the deposit payment, select the “Included” button. If you select the “Not Included” button, customers will have to pay separately for each ordered product, and the prices of those products will not be deducted from the deposit payment.
- Price: Define the interval at which the payment for the deposit product will increase. If you want the payment to change after a certain interval, select the “Different Intervals” button and add new pricing rules in the window that opens.

Pricing Example
Let’s say you run a PlayStation club and charge 5 AZN for every 15 minutes spent in the room. In the Price section, simply enter 15 in the minutes box and 5 in the price box.
If you want the price to change after a certain interval, select the Different Intervals button. For example, suppose you want the rate to drop after 1 hour and charge 3 AZN for every 15 minutes thereafter. After selecting the button, enter 60 minutes in the “after” box and 3 in the price box.
You might also want the price to increase again after 3 hours and become 4 AZN. To do this, click “Add Interval”, then enter 180 minutes in the “after” box and 4 in the price field.
When you activate the Notification button, the terminal will play a sound alert when the allocated time for the product runs out.
You can also use deposit products to create a pricing system that meets your business needs.
We hope this article has provided you with sufficient information about the settings.
