Editing Ingredients and Applying Deletion Methods in Tech Cards

When creating a tech card, certain adjustments in ingredients must be made to ensure correct stock reduction. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Back Office → Menu → Products.
  2. Find the tech card you want to edit. Click the three dots next to it and select Edit.
  3. Go to the Ingredients section. First, check the Deletion Method.

Deletion Methods

There are two types of deletion methods:

1. Delete from Ingredients:

When selected, the ingredients listed on the tech card will decrease individually from stock as sales occur.

2. Delete from Ready Product:

When selected, the tech card itself will decrease from stock as a whole, instead of its ingredients.

💡 Choosing the correct deletion method is very important to keep stock data accurate. Make sure to select the method that fits the tech card’s specifics.

Adding Ingredients After Selecting “Delete from Ingredients”

After selecting Delete from Ingredients, you can add the following to the tech card:

  • Ingredients
  • Semi-finished Products
  • Ready Products
  • Tech Cards

1. Adding Ingredients:

Enter the quantity to reduce from stock per portion in the Brutto field. If the ingredient exists in stock, it will decrease accordingly.

If the reduction does not happen, go to Menu → Ingredients, find the ingredient, click Edit, and make sure “Do not calculate stock” is not active. If this option is active, stock will not reduce. Once enabled, it cannot be reversed.

2. Adding Semi-finished Products:

Enter the quantity to reduce from stock per portion in the Brutto field.

  • If the semi-finished product exists in stock, it will decrease.
  • If it does not exist, check the deletion method:
    • Delete from Ready Product: the semi-finished product itself will decrease.
    • Delete from Ingredients: the ingredients of the semi-finished product will decrease.

3. Adding a Tech Card:

Enter the quantity to reduce per portion in the Brutto field.

  • If the tech card exists in stock, it will decrease.
  • If it does not exist, check the deletion method:
    • Delete from Ready Product: the tech card itself will decrease.
    • Delete from Ingredients: the ingredients of the tech card will decrease.

4. Adding Ready Products:

Enter the quantity to reduce per portion in the Brutto field.

  • If the product exists in stock, it will decrease.
  • If the reduction does not happen, go to Menu → Products, find the product, click Edit, and make sure “Do not calculate stock” is not active.
💡 If a semi-finished product contains another semi-finished product, or a tech card contains another tech card, pay special attention to the deletion methods.
  • If the deletion method is Delete from Ready Product, the ingredients inside will not decrease, only the tech card or semi-finished product itself decreases.
  • If the deletion method is Delete from Ingredients, the ingredients inside will decrease from stock.
💡 If your product’s deletion method is Delete from Ingredients, but the product itself is still in stock, first the stock of the product will decrease. After it is finished, the ingredients listed in the tech card will start decreasing.
