Importing the Menu Using Excel

In the Clopos system, you can import the menu in bulk.
For this, you need to create a new Excel file and enter the product names, prices, categories, stations, and product types in a table.

Creating the Import File

  1. Open MS Excel and create a new file.
  2. Add the columns as shown below.

Add your products and Technical Cards to the Excel file according to the example.

Columns

The columns should be filled in as follows:

  • Name – Enter the name of the finished product or Technical Card.
  • Price – Enter the selling price of the product.
  • Category – Enter the category of the product or Technical Card.
  • Station – Enter the place where the product or Technical Card is prepared. A printer should be installed for this station so that the orders sent from the terminal are printed at the correct station.
  • Type – Enter the product type. Only DISH or GOODS should be used.
  • Barcode – If the product has a barcode, you can enter it. If it does not have a barcode, you can delete this column.
💡 Important: If the product you are creating is a finished product, write GOODS. If it is a Technical Card, write DISH. Otherwise, the Excel file will not be accepted.
