Production

Production is used to add semi-finished products to your stock. Based on a set recipe, the system calculates the amount needed and adds the semi-finished product to stock in the quantity you want to produce. To produce a semi-finished product, go to Inventory → Production. Then click the Create button.

  • Warehouse – Here you choose which warehouse the new production will go into.
  • Operation time – You can change the operation time if you want. You can also record the semi-finished product operation with an earlier date.
💡 If a product has already been through stocktaking, you cannot create a production operation for a date before the stocktaking date!

Add the semi-finished product to an empty field. Enter how much you want to produce. Based on the quantity you enter, the ingredients that make up the semi-finished product will be reduced from the warehouse, and the entered quantity of the semi-finished product will be added to the warehouse.

After that, when sales happen, the system will reduce stock from the produced semi-finished product itself, not from its ingredients. Once that semi-finished product is fully sold out, if a sale happens again, the system will then reduce stock from the ingredients used in the semi-finished product.
You can find more detailed information about creating a semi-finished product by clicking on Semi-finished product.
