Importing the Inventory Count

Importing the Inventory Count:

It is possible to import the quantities of the stock you have counted into the system in bulk as an Excel file. To do this, we follow the steps below:

  1. We go to Back Panel → Inventory → Inventory Count section and click the Create button.
  2. We select a warehouse and add the products we will count to the page.
  3. After they are added, we export the document and download it to the computer.
  4. In the downloaded Excel file, you will only need certain columns, apart from some sections.

The Excel file will be downloaded in this format. However, you will not need any section except for a few.

*Required Columns:** You only need these 3 columns:

  • ID code – Needed for the system to identify the product.
  • Product – You can see the name of the product and where to enter the actual warehouse balance.
  • Quantity – You enter the quantities of the actual warehouse balances.

After entering the information shown above, you import that Excel file back into the inventory document.![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/7/4/0/e/740e20bde3bec000/image_17hcgv8.png)

Step 1 and Step 2

If you are using Step 1 and Step 2 at the same time, the Excel file will be downloaded with 2 pages. However, the Excel file you will import must have only 1 page, and you must import it in whichever step you want to import it in. You will need the information in the same columns in both steps.![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/7/4/0/e/740e20bde3bec000/image_1vswtov.png)

Inventory Steps:

There are two types of steps for carrying out an inventory count:

  • Step 1: This step is used to count the ingredients in the recipes of food items (tech cards) or semi-finished products. The actual warehouse balance you enter in this step will be passed to Step 2 for the corresponding ingredients.
  • Step 2: In this step, you can now begin counting the ingredients. That is, the inventory count of the ingredients is carried out based on the actual quantity you entered in Step 1. To add products to the inventory document, you can add products to the list by using the "Add" button.
💡 If there are any columns in the table that you need or do not need, you can activate or deactivate those columns from the Table section.
