# Refund Function with Omnitech Integration is Now Active!

A new and essential feature has been added to the **Omnitech integration — Refund**!
With this update, refunds are now automatically fiscalized and officially reported to the State Tax Service (STS).
Key Features of the New Function:
**Automatic Fiscalization and Refund:** When a sale is refunded, the system automatically initiates the fiscalization process. This ensures that every refund is legally and officially recorded.
**Tax Selection per Product:** During a refund, a tax rate must be selected for each product. Even if the product was previously sold with a default tax rate, a specific tax rate must be assigned before refunding.
**Official Notification to STS:** At the end of each refund transaction, official data is automatically sent to the State Tax Service. This ensures full tax compliance and transparency.
**Additional Flexibility:** If a product was sold under a default tax rate, users can now assign a new tax rate for the refund process. This makes the process more flexible and compliant with fiscal regulations.
**Result:** With this update, the Omnitech integration has become more advanced, fully tax-compliant, and focused on improving customer satisfaction.
