# Payment Method

To create a new payment method in Clopos, go to **Back Office → Sales → Payment Methods**. On the page that opens, click the **+Create** button located at the top right corner.

Next, on the page that opens, enter the required information and click the **Save** button.

1. In the **Name** field, enter the name of the payment method.
2. In the **Balance** section, select the financial account where the amount should be loaded.
3. If the customer will split the bill (e.g., cash and another payment method), the **Divisible** function must be enabled. Otherwise, the bill is paid using a single payment method.
4. If you enable the **Customer Required** option, a page will open to add a customer when selecting the payment method. (When this option is enabled, a customer must be selected for the receipt.)
